Our Programs
Heart and Hands Child Care Center, LLC is a fully licensed child care center. We are licensed for 47 children. We are a Tier II quality program. Choices subsidy pay is accepted. We offer a range of specialized programs designed to meet the unique developmental needs of children from 6 weeks through 12 years. Our curriculum fosters curiosity, learning, and social-emotional growth. We work on learning self-regulation skills and progression of each child's developmental needs. Each classroom a camera to ensure safety.

Infant Care
Our nursery under the age of 1 is a classroom set up for our littlest learners. We use a containment free environment so no bouncers or swings are used. Infants spend their time on the floor where they gain the muscles needed for fine and gross motor muscle development. The nursery includes a ratio of 1:4 teacher/child, a weekly group lesson plan, and weekly individual plans and a WVIT certified teacher.
One Year Old Program
Designed for babies over the age of 1, our one year classroom focuses on gaining skills in all areas of development. The classroom runs at a 1:4 teacher/child ratio, a weekly group lesson plan, and individual weekly lesson plans. Our one year olds begin to follow a routine and schedule.
Our Early Two Program
Our Early Two Classroom is for children 2-3 years old. Children in this classroom are at a 1:7 teacher:child ratio. The classroom follows a daily schedule and weekly group and weekly individual lesson plans.
Our Toddler Program
Our Toddler room is from 2.5 to 3.5 years. Children in this classroom are at a 1:7 teacher to ratio. The classroom follows a daily scheduled and weekly group and individual lesson.
Our Preschool Program
Our preschool is made of 12 preschoolers age 3-4 years old along with a teacher and assistant teacher. Using the High Scope curriculum and WV Pre-K Learning Standards, the daily schedule consists of activities in Approaches to Learning, Math, Science, English Learning Arts, The Arts (Music, Movement, and Art), and Health and Physical Education along with outdoor playtime, a book of the day, circle time, meals, and a nap time.
Our School Age Program
Our school age program consists of ensuring children catch the bus in the morning and arrive after school. Children are provided with a meal upon their return to the center and time to do homework. During the summer, daily lesson plans are followed along with time outdoors, meals, and reading time.
